Food was ok. Service was ok. Not much else to really say. We had burgers for lunch... Elk burger tough and dry but elk is kinda like that anyway. The fries were good. Was nice to sit out on the patio.

Food menu is classic diner food but with a satisfying taste... Looking for ice cream treats they got it! The waiting staff seemed to be a little awkward and uncomfortable. You can't argue that their menu isn't delish though!

This place is amazing. Burger was awesome. Pulled pork was tasty. Kids meals are a good size. Waitress knows how to treat guests very well, including the kids. This place has a nice 60s diner feel. The only thing that could make this place better would be if the food was free. Lol.

Shake and fries were good. Smoked brisket was not bad. Their burgers were pretty sad, and they could not be cooked to order. Only available overdone apparently. Shake had less extra shake in the metal thing that comes with the extra from the glass than I'm accustomed to elsewhere.

Where do I start for this restaurant? I enjoyed the 50s style vibe and the cute uniforms the waitresses wore. The raspberry milk shake was delicious. The western baked beans that I had to ask FOUR times to get a side of was also very tasty. My Elk burger was dry and flavorless. The burger came with only a bun. All of the party that I was will agreed that they would not eat there again.

Went there after exploring the city and only had desserts and soda. Great service and nice prices. The sundae and brownie were so yummy.

Service was attentive and very nice! The burgers were delicious! Juicy and cooked perfectly. We had the old smoky and the jalapeno burger

Good burgers which are quite filling. Crisp fries, possibly baked. Moderate prices, a little too expensive for the specialty burgers though ($10, come with fries). I had a good cheeseburger which cost me an extra buck to add lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. Good though, seemingly hand-pattied burgers of substantial size. The waitresses are teenage girls in weird 50s outfits and the place boasts a street-side patio. Wonky setup for bill-paying but a friendly faux-50s diner, not bad.

Okay if you are real hungry but nothing great about it and the service was real bad. They are trying to duplicate a 50/60's diner but it is a bad presentation. I had a hamburger that can't even compete with the major chains and my chocolate shake was runny like chocolate milk. Don't waste your money here.

Enjoyed this stop, had a great malt and sandwich. Kind of like a 60 ' s burger joint. Service was good and clean inside. We were there in September.

Amazing food and good service. The pace was packed with only two wait staff working and they handled it like pros. The diner vibe was definitely there. Worth stopping in.

We have eaten here before when it was the "Route 66 Diner" years ago. We decided to eat here again because of the nice outdoor seating. I am surprised by the negative reviews. This place isn't a steakhouse. We ordered wings for our appetizer, I'm the only one that like spicy food so we asked about the heat level before hand. They are cayenne pepper based wings and were perfect if you don't like heat but enjoy a little spicy food now and then. The pizza two of us ordered was massive, I would only recommend ordering for a large party. The pizza was surprisingly the best we have had in the Hills, save for Pizza Lab. My chicken strips were great and the fries were the best I had on our trip. Our server was helpful and great at her job (I forgot your name, sorry!). Outdoor seating is great being right on Main Street. If you don't want to eat at one of the regular burger joints or steakhouses, I highly recommend this.

Passable food for the kids but kind of pricey for what they got. The open-face hot beef with mashed potatoes and gravey was fair. Gravy was not powdered mix that I could tell and the portion was average. Not bad for a quick lunch.

the burgers were pretty good. the service was good. the sandwiches, however, were poor. My wife's BLT came on thick bread with only one slice of bacon and one skinny piece of lettuce on each side of the sandwich. My fathers Rubin only had one skinny slice of pastrami, and my cousins turkey sandwich only had one skinny piece of turkey on it. for 9 bucks, the sandwiches were a ripoff. the sundaes were good. I hope the owners see this review and get their sandwiches together, because it has potential to be a pretty good place.
